From Rivage Hôtel & Spa, you can easily reach the bike path that runs along the lake. When you leave the hotel, head toward the Petit Port, then follow the bike path toward Annecy or, in the other direction, toward Veyrier-du-Lac and the villages around the lake.
Several popular destinations are easily accessible by bike:
- Annecy & its Old Town
- Albigny Beach
- Veyrier-du-Lac
- Menthon-Saint-Bernard

A Bike Ride Around Lake Annecy
To fully enjoy the magnificent scenery of Lake Annecy, we recommend starting your tour around the lake heading toward Veyrier-du-Lac, then continuing on to Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Talloires, and Doussard, before returning along the western shore toward Annecy.
Note: If you choose to ride the route in the opposite direction, the stretch between Talloires and Montmin includes a steep and fairly challenging climb. Without an e-bike, it’s a tough climb!
We therefore recommend that you take the route from Veyrier-du-Lac → Talloires → Doussard → West Shore, especially if you're not used to hilly terrain.
A walk around the lake lets you explore the main villages and enjoy magnificent views of the lake and the mountains. Plan on spending half a day to a full day, depending on your pace and the breaks you’d like to take.
Places to explore along the route: Veyrier-du-Lac, Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Talloires, Doussard, Duingt, Saint-Jorioz, and Annecy.

La Dolce Vita Annécienne just for you!
